How does a heat pump with solar panels work?
The entire system works in that solar electricity produced by the solar cells is primarily used in heat pumps and is stored as heat in hot water and/or in a separate circulating water tank. Only when both the hot water tank and the water tank have both reached their maximum temperature is solar power fed back into the grid.
